IR Flora and Fauna Green Party 2018 – The Rules

Hi, here are the rules for Green Party 2018:

The GREEN PARTY TEAM invite all the 11M radio-operators of all Groups, to join us in the Green Party 2018.
The purpose = To stimulate the 11M radio-operators to leave the house and involve in portable/outdoor operation related to the nature and ecology and to familiarize worldwide 11M radio-operators with protected natural areas.

If you are resident in WWFF (World Wide Flora and Fauna) area, you can also participate to the Challenge in Your Shake radio, but you can not benefit of the “Bonus Points : 25% for 44 QSO and the “Bonus Points : 30% for 50 QSO”.

Dates: 01th May 2018 from 00.00 UTC to 31th August 2018 23.59 UTC. Band: 27 MHz – Mode: USB / LSB / AM / FM
Call: “CQ Green Party” – Example : 14XX/FFF-044 Calling Categories of participation: – one operator or multiple operators Report exchange: RS + In the Log or progressive numbers – Portable station or résident in WWFF area
Points: 1 QSO = 1 point ; 20 QSO = 20 points ; 30 QSO = 30 points
44 QSO + (Bonus 25% only for the portable activities) = 44 x 1.25 = 55 points
50 QSO + (Bonus 30% only for the portable activities) = 50 x 1.30 = 65 points

All operation must take place from one operating WWFF site. Transmitters and receivers must be located within a 500-meter diameter circle and the WWFF area must to be on the Air : Minimum 4 hours in Total during the Challenge. The outdoor station will obey the specific rules of the natural protected area from which will operate (according to national laws and national WWFF rules).

Final score: sum of points from all WWFF areas activated by operator. If you active in Multi operator, sum of points / operators (Example : 14XX/FFF-044 activated by 14XX888 & 14XX999 – Total QSO : 50 – Points by operator : 25 points for 14XX888 and 25 points for 14XX999 + Bonus points if you was Portable station.
Logs will be sent to: hfburo@gmail.com 15 days after the “Green party” or after “the Green Party Activation”.
Logs emailed after the deadline may be ineligible for any awards.
Final score for the WWFF Hunters : sum of WWFF areas contacted in total. It is not necessary to send your log after “Green Party”.

Objectif: inciter les radio-opérateurs du 11M à quitter la maison et participer à des activations portables / extérieures liées à la nature et à l’écologie et familiariser les radio-opérateurs du 11M du monde entier avec les zones naturelles protégées. Toutes les opérations doivent avoir lieu à partir d’un site WWFF opérationnel. Les émetteurs et récepteurs doivent être situés dans un cercle de 500 mètres de diamètre et la zone WWFF doit être sur l’air : Minimum 4 heures au Total dans le Challenge. La station extérieure obéira aux règles spécifiques de la zone naturelle protégée à partir de laquelle elle fonctionnera (conformément aux lois nationales et aux règles nationales du WWFF).
Score final: somme des points de toutes les zones du WWFF activées par l’opérateur. Si vous êtiez actif en Multi-opérateur, somme des points / opérateurs (Exemple: 14XX / FFF-044 activé par 14XX888 & 14XX999 – Total QSO: 50 – Points par opérateur : 25 points pour 14XX888 et 25 points pour 14XX999 + Points bonus si vous êtes Station portable à partir du 44ème QSO ou 50ème QSO). Les logs seront à envoyer à: hfburo@gmail.com 15 jours après la « Green Party » ou à la fin de votre activation. Les Logs envoyés après la date limite peuvent ne pas être admissibles à des awards.
Score final pour les Chasseurs WWFF : somme des WWFF contactés au total – pas nécessaire d’envoyer votre Log après la Green Party.

IR Island Festival 2018 / Flora and Fauna Green Party 2018

This is to remind you of two radio events, you can take part in:

  1.  Green Party 2018 : World Wide Flora Fauna activations, from May 1st 2018 to August 31st 2018. Several IR members or IR teams are taking part to this event, and it’s not too late to register ! See links below.
  2. Island Festival 2018 : IOTA, IOTA n/v and IWI activations. This event is now a major event on 11mtrs and it has been organised for many years. IR members will take part, as usual, and you still can join the Festival, which will take place 2 and 3 June 2018. See links below.

Je souhaitais vous rappeler que vous pouvez prendre part à deux événements radio intéressants :

  1. Green Party 2018: activations de références WFF (Flora Fauna). Les activations sont possibles du 1er mai au 31 aout, mais il n’est pas trop tard pour participer. Nous avons déjà plusieurs membres qui vont activer des références, mais n’hésitez pas à nous rejoindre, surtout qu’il y a des références un peu partout ! Voir les liens ci-dessous.
  2. Island Festival 2018: activations d’îles (IWI, IOTA, IOTA n/v). Tout le monde connaît cet événement qui a déjà lieu depuis des années et rencontre toujours un grand succès. Là aussi, nous avons déjà des membres qui vont activer des îles, mais plus on est de fous, plus on rit, donc n’hésitez pas à participer ! Il est encore temps. Là aussi, des îles, il y en a un peu partout. Voir liens ci-dessous.

IR Flora and Fauna Green Party 2018

During spring/summer, the Hotel Florida DX Group organizes a World Flora Fauna event and encourages people from all groups to take part.

The International Radio DX Group will take part and our members will be active from several references.

If you want to join this event, please let us know so we can issue an activation callsign to you.

IRDX Clubstations

RULES FOR FORMING & RUNNING A CLUBSTATION

  • The QRZ for the Clubstation must be obtained from IR HQ
  • There must be one named operator, who is responsible for the correct running of the Station
  • There must be a minimum of three (3) operators present before the Clubstation can be activated
  • An accurate log must be kept, using the progressive number system will be prefered. The Log must be signed by at least three (3) of the operators present.
  • NO Money or IRC are to be requested for qsl cards
  • The Operators of the clubstation may only say during the activation : “voluntary contrbution will be appreciated”.
    The Special QSL 000 will be send anyway, without any problems.

2017 Island Festival : looking for IR-DX activators !

Dear IR-DX members,

The Island Festival  2017 will take place the first week-end of june (3-4 june 2017).

The registration is now OPEN http://islandfestival.net/?page_id=1470

As usual , IOTA, IOTA N/V and I.W.I are counters for the competition.

A searchable list of islands is available here : http://www.islands.uznam.net.pl/  but please not all islands aren’t listed.

We would be happy if some IR teams would be active this year, to promote the group and to keep the band alive.

Nearly everyone has some island nearby, at sea, in a lake or on a river, so don’t hesitate to take part to the event!  With a team or alone, a few hours, one day or 48h, by car, foot or boat, just do like you can and enjoy the event !!!

To save you time and money, the group offers to print an ISLAND FESTIVAL 2017 QSL, confirming all IR island festival activations.  One QSL, one manager (14IR017 Reg), one contribution.

All you have to do is to register the Island Festival, to inform 14IR017 Reg about your plans and to send your logs to the Island Festival + to 14IR017 when the event is over.

Nous serions heureux que, cette année encore, des membres IR participent au Festival, afin d’assurer la promotion du groupe et de maintenir un peu d’activité sur la bande.

Presque tout le monde a une île près de chez lui, qu’elle soit en mer, sur un lac ou sur une rivière, n’hésitez donc pas à vous lancer ! Seul ou en équipe, pour quelques heures, une journée ou 48h, à pieds, en voiture ou en bateau, faites comme vous voulez et amusez-vous !!!

Pour vous éviter tout tracas, le groupe propose de faire imprimer une QSL générale Island Festival 2017 qui confirmera toutes les îles actives en IR cette année pour le festival. Une QSL, un manager (14IR017 Reg) et une seule contribution.

Vous devez juste vous enregistrer pour l’édition 2017, informer 14IR017 Reg de vos projets et ne pas oublier d’envoyer vos logs à l’organisation de l’Island Festival ainsi qu’à 14IR017.
