IRDX HQ Information

Thank you for taking note of this, we have taken the decision to remove to 3IR199  his functions as qsl manager, coordinator and vice-president of the IRDX, as stipulated in the rule of having no other radio callsigns for IRDX representative that each group representative must respect.

Flavio wanted to have a new call sign.
As it is not possible for him to use another callsign in our group and in the group he joined, it is not possible for him to continue to be an IRDX representative.

We thank Flavio for his excellent work for IRDX and we wish him good luck and a lot of fun with his new callsign.

2019 IR-DX HB25 RESULTS !

Hello, I’m sorry for delay, but I’m pleased to announce the results of IR-DX 25th anniversary event which took place in 2019.
The band conditions have been mostly bad throughout the whole event unfortunately.

If you were active in 2019 as an IR HB25 station, you can now start sending the logs of your activity, preferably in Excel format if possible to : hb25@irdx.org …

What is needed is DATE UTC TIME CALLSIGN – no need for frequency, name, qth, rst (everybody is 59).

Active this sunday May 26th 2019: ENGLAND 016 Brixham lighthouse !


The IRDX Lighthouse Challenge:

4 Lighthouses Activated, 1 Every Sunday.

Berry Head, Teignmouth, Start Point, Brixham Harbour Lighthouses.

Callsigns & Dates:

5th May 2019, Berry Head – 26IR/ENG 007 
12th May 2019, Teignmouth – 26IR/ENG 153
19th May 2019, Start Point – 26IR/ENG 148
26th May 2019, Brixham – 26IR/ENG 016

*** Berry Head ENG007 will be repeated in June due to the band being closed, date to follow***

(Should propagation be a problem, these dates could change or be repeated later in June, post will be updated appropriately)

1st prize – Silver Plated Engraved Lighthouse Spoon For The First Operator To Work All 4 Lighthouses, you must live outside of Devon of course!!!

2nd Prize – 2nd Operator To Work All 4 Lighthouses – 2 x South Point Lighthouse, Barbados coins, 1979 and 2010.

3rd Prize – 3rd Operator To Work All 4 Lighthouses – Lighthouse Keyring.
